8th Consumers Food Safety & Quality Conference On 11th February

Karachi: Under the auspices of Consumers Association of Pakistan Eight Consumers Food Safety & Quality Conference will be held in Pearl Continental Karachi on 11 Feb, 2016.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Provincial Minister of Food Government ofSindh will be the chief guest whereas conference will be presided by Senior Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FPCCI), Mr. Khalid Tawab. Commissioner Karachi Syed Asif Haider Shah, Consul General Malaysia Mr. Ismail Bin Mohammad Bakri, Honorary Consul General of Yemen Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, CEO Naheed Super Market Mr. Ibraruddin, Honorary Consul General Morocco Mr. Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Managing Director Water & Sewerage Board Mr. Misbahuddin Fareed, Senior Director Food & Quality Control Mr. Mukhtar Hussain KMC, President All Pakistan Restaurant Association Mr. Shaukat Ali Umer Sons, Country Ambassador  American Society for Micro Biology Dr. ShahanaUroojKazmi, Cooking Expert Zubaida Tariq AAPA, Senior Manager Legal & Corporate Affairs English Biscuits Mr. Mohammad AzamShakeel, CEO City Events Punjab Mr. Tahir Mahmood will be the Guests of Honor.

Chairman Consumers Association of Pakistan Kaukab Iqbal said that Regional Head Malaysian Palm Oil Board Mr. Fairus Hidzir, Director Department of Food Science Sindh Agricultural University TandoJam, Director Organization Development New Nest Dr. Salman Lodhi, President National Alliance for Safe Food Rana Owais Khan, Chief Food Inspector Regulation & Quality Control KMC Mr. Abdul Waheed Bhatti, Dr. Asia Panwar Professor Sindh University Tando Jam will deliver their presentations.

Kaukab Iqbal while briefing the media along with Chairman CAP Sindh Mr. Farhan Hanif and General Secretary Consumers Association of Pakistan Mr. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Khan added that Conference will be helpful for providing awareness to Consumers as well as to all stake holders of food industry including Restaurants, Bakeries and Hotels for providing safe and quality food coupled with clean environment to Consumers. He stressed for” no compromise” on quality of food items whether manufactured or processed in Pakistan or imported from any country.
