Chaudhry Nisar Bashes Indian Home Minister On Kashmir Issue

The ongoing strain in Indo-Pak relations was apparent at the SAARC conference here in Islamabad when Home Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan came face- to-face with his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh for the first time today.

The tensions were high between the two countries because of the aftermath of week’s long violence in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. The two leaders barely shook hands at the conference.

Chaudhry Nisar while addressing to the conference said there is being use of excessive force to suppress the protestors in the occupied Kashmir. He said that the use of violence and torture against innocent women, children and civilian equally qualifies to as terrorism.

Chaudhry Nisar also stated, “Pakistan has not shut the door on bilateral dialogue, we are always willing to conduct discussions and dialogue, but with dignity and self-respect.”
