Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali said that investigation of 800 people will take years and cannot be held simultaneously that’s why we started from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Because being Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is more accountable.
He quoted an incident from the life of Caliph Umar (Ra) and said if the companion of Prophet (PBUH) was questioned by a common man then why can’t Nawaz Sharif be question?
He said everyone will be investigated and all cases will be heard but this case is our priority. If Prime Minister himself said he is available for investigation and accountability then what is the problem now, he questioned.
