Under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) the largest investment in any specific location will be at Gwadar City which is the starting point of CPEC.
The Gwadar port has already been upgraded while the new airport is under construction. Under CPEC Free Trade Zone and Business Complex of Gwadar Port Authority and Two Dams will also be constructed. Government also announced that a school and university will also be constructed in Gwadar.
CPEC is the largest foreign investment in Pakistan in history and worth’s more than $51.5 Billion.
