I appreciate Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MNA Dr Arif Alavi for seeking g powers to the elected representatives of local government bodies. He was of the view that the mayor of Karachi is powerless while all powers lie with the minister of local bodies.
Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has started this campaign and Imran Khan also said that he is with MQM on this agenda despite many political differences.
It would be great if all the political parties of Karachi which contest elections and talks on Karachi issues also pressurizes Sindh Government for power of Mayor.
