On the Morning of 8th October 2005 Kashmir was hit by a severe earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6. At least 100,000 people were killed and around 3.5 million became homeless.
When the earthquake hit Pakistan a live program was having its transmission at PTV Islamabad. This is the live video from that earthquake.
The participants of the program started making prayers and reciting names of Allah during the whole earthquake. The earthquake lasted for around 45 seconds.
This was one of the biggest and devastating earthquake in the history of Pakistan.
