A joint investigation team has been formed to investigate the murder of Famous Sufi Singer Amjad Sabri. Yesterday two major target killers Asim Capri and Ishaq alias Bobby were arrested by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
Police alleged that both terrorists are from Naeem Bukhari group of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and were involved in killing of Amjad Sabri, Policeman, Rangers and workers of Muttahida Quami Movement.
Asim Capri was also arrested in 2013 for killing of MPA Sajid Qureshi who was a member of MQM. But was released after one year from Sukkur jail and rejoined the terrorists.
