Misbah ul Haq has proved to be one of the best Test Captains in Pakistan Cricket Team History.
Under his captaincy Pakistan won 23 matches and lost only 13 out of 47 matches. While Imran khan who is championed as Hero because of World Cup victory, won only 14 matches out of 48 matches.
Misbah ul Haq become captain during dark ages of Pakistan cricket when Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked in 2009. Another event took place in the following year when three Pakistani players were entrapped by British News Paper and had to face Prosecution.
In this odd time he become captain and won more matches for Pakistan than any other test captain.
