Orya Maqbool Jan revealed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wanted to give licenses to Indian channels. He revealed that for this purpose he asked PEMRA Chairman Chaudhry Rasheed to meet Indian delegation.
Chaudhry Rasheed didn’t gave licenses as per the wishes of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, rather he said that If Indian Government gives license to Pakistani channels than I will give license to Indian Channels.
The delegation was not interested in negotiations and was angered by the behavior of Mr. Chaudhry Rasheed.
After some time Prime Minister removed Chaudhry Rasheed from His post.
