During an interview to Indian Television in the mid 90’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that we are the one who stood for accountability and against corruption.
He said that during Benazir Bhutto’s government corruption was prevalent in each and every department. He alleged that Zardari was the defacto Prime Minister and was known for ‘kick backs’ and ‘commission’.
It should be noted that now Imran Khan is leading a movement against Nawaz Sharif government on the same allegations that once Nawaz Sharif made against Benazir Bhutto and her government.
