Sharmeela Farooqi changed the name of a street to Usman Farooqi Avenue as a tribute to his father Usman Farooqi who was Chairman of Pakistan Steel Mill.
Previously the road was called Shahzad Khalil Avenue, which was a tribute to the famous PTV Producer and Director Shahzad Khalil.
People have criticized this saying that Shahzad Khali was an icon who should be remembered as a man who made PTV the greatest channel of its era.
