Sindh Rangers is doing an operation in Karachi for quite some time now. They have succeeded in bring down crime in the metropolitan city. However, street crimes, mainly mobile snatching, have not reduced till now. There is a very active Facebook group on Karachi situation known as Halaat Updates (https://web.facebook.com/groups/haalatpk). Around 40,000 people are member of this group.
Many people report their street crime issues on this group even when they don’t report it to police, Ranger or any other law enforcement agencies (they should do it). Scores of people also update this group within seconds of any incident in Karachi.
It is my suggestion that the Sindh Rangers (if they are not doing it already) also access this group and look for complaints there. They can get a lot of information from there as well.
