A new specie of spider has been discovered which makes itself looks like a dry leaf to attack its prey. It’s a strategy which is used by many other animals around the globe to either attack a prey or to protect them from attacker.
This unique spider was discovered in China, which have a body like partly dried leaf. This was photographed in 2011 by some scientist who did not continue their research on the specie.
But now a team have studied and concluded that this is a strategy used by the spider to attack its prey. The details of the research were published in the Journal of Arachnology.
