Lahore: Nishat Hotels and Properties Ltd (NHPL) are deeply saddened by the demise of our Director, Mr. Saeed Alvi, who passed away this morning.
Mr. Saeed Alvi was a retired civil servant from Pakistan Administrative Service with 36 years of field experience at sub-divisional, district, divisional and secretariat levels of provincial and federal governments. Among his many professional roles, Mr. Alvi served as the Director Staff of the National School of Public Policy, Chairperson TEVTA and Federal Secretary Human Rights in a diverse and rich career.
Mr. Alvi also actively served on the Boards of Directors of Nishat Real Estate Development Ltd, Nishat Power Limited, Lalpir Power Limited, Nishat Mills Ltd and other companies of the Nishat Group. In the capacity of Director NHPL, Mr. Alvi directly supervised the management of the Emporium Mall.
Mr. Alvi is survived by a widow, three daughters and a son. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved and keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
