Thermoelectric Paint: A Paint Which Converts Heat Into Electricity

colourful paintsResearchers have succeeded in making a “Thermoelectric Paint” which converts heat of the wall into energy.

The research was carried out by a team of scientists from three leading institutes of Korea UNIST, KIST and KERI. The research was published in Nature Communications.

The coauthor of the research Jae Sung Son said that this paint will be useful by using it on high heat producing things such as cars, ship vessels and buildings where temperature may go up to 40 °C.

Though it will take further time and research after which it may be used for commercial purposes.
