Two-Day National Industrial Relations and Provincial Tripartite Labour Convention on 19th & 20th May, 2016‏

Karachi: Employers’ Federation of Pakistan (EFP) in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO)is organizing a Two-Day National Industrial Relations and Provincial Tripartite Labour Convention on Post Devolution Labour Law Reforms & Their Impact on Business Sustainability on 19th & 20th May, 2016 at Marriott Hotel, Karachi

After the devolution of labour to the provinces as a result of 18th Constitutional Amendment, there is strong need to develop a harmonious approach in all Provinces towards an employment and productivity oriented labor and industrial policy at the federal and provincial levels.

To respond to this need, the Employers’ Federation of Pakistan has convened a NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS and PROVINCIAL TRIPARTITE LABOUR CONVENTION on 19th and 20th of May 2016 at Marriott Hotel, Karachi. 

Federal and Provincial Ministers, Secretaries and Directors of Labour and Human Resource Departments, Workers’ Federations’ Employer Bodies and Business are being invited to attend the proceedings of the Convention.

This will be a unique platform for the stakeholders to discuss the issues and challenges confronting the future growth of business. The occasion will also help in developing a labour strategy for economic growth.
