Wildfire due to hot and dry weather erupted in more than 200 places in Israel. Haifa, the third biggest Israeli city saw an evacuation of around 45,000 people.
On Saturday night the fire reached the Israeli settlements near West Bank where 2,000 homes were evacuated. It is said that in total only 700 houses were destroyed and 122 people were treated for minor injuries.
Israeli firefighters with help of Palestinian, US, Russian and Turkish teams finally succeeded in extinguishing the fire which affected 20,000 acres of area.
Small fires were also erupted near Palestinian villages but were extinguished within few hours.
