The lancet published a new study revealing that 1.13 Billion people suffered from blood pressure in 2015, and majority was from low and middle income countries.
Half of the adult blood pressure patients were from Asia. The study showed a direct link between income and blood pressure, the lower the blood pressure the higher the chances of this problem.
USA, UK, Canada and South Korea were countries with the lowest percentage of blood pressure patients, and they all are high income countries.
There are many factors of increasing blood pressure patients such as high levels of salt & potassium, pollution, poor nutrition and lack of diagnosis options.
