Back Pain treatment depends on the severity and the reason for the pain. It usually takes 6 weeks of treatment to get rid of back pain.
The first thing you should do is to get some rest as the reason of pain can be excessive work. If you sit long hours on your computer or at office then do take breaks for 5 minutes after each hour to relax your muscles.
Use heat or cold packs it will also decrease the pain, but it is only useful in decreasing the pain at that particular time.
Massage and Exercises are also helpful but it should be done after consultation with a therapist, who will evaluate your problem and the progress.
