Maulana Tariq Jameel shared a story that when he was travelling to Karachi from Faisalabad a girl asked her to give any suggestion or verses which she may read because her mother in law is not good with her.
To which Maulana Tariq Jameel responded that no verses can work on Mother in laws. He told her to praise her Mother in Law whenever she wears any new cloth, or when she is going somewhere. It is the only way to make your place in her heart Maulana said.
He emphasized on treating wives and widows well as it is the teaching of Islam he said.
