Dr Zakir Naik was asked by a non-Muslim that I have seen Muslims mourning and piercing their bodies, and beating themselves. He asked why followers of Allah do so?
Dr Zakir Naik answered him that Muslims don’t mourn anyone after their death. The mourning period is for three days, and even in these days it is not allowed to beat yourself or pierce your body.
Today we see many Muslims who in the name of emotions do such things. Dr Zakir Naik said we should follow Quran and Quran doesn’t ask us to pierce our bodies.
