A video become viral on social media in last few days in which a husband was seen cutting his wife’s hair, it was said that it was a Pakistani man and was doing this in the name of ‘honour’.
But now it has been revealed that the couple was not Pakistani, rather it is a Brazilian couple. The man named Fabricio Yanovich was angry on his wife for having another affair.
The video was posted on Brazilian page “Boletim de ocorrencia” and then someone copied it and re-shared it on Pakistani pages claiming this is how Pakistani treats women.
This is not the first time that fake videos were used to malign Pakistan. Another video was aired by Geo TV and other news channels in which a woman was seen being tortured, it was claimed that the video was from Swat.
After the video Pakistan army started an operation in Swat, but later Supreme Court gave a judgement that the video was fake.
