Aslam Azad is a residence of Islamabad who first appeared in the news when he launched the first solar car of Pakistan, that car was able to travel only 50 miles. But now he has designed and manufactured better cars which can travel 100 KMs after 1 hour charge.
In addition to being charged from solar panel these cars can also be charged through electricity. He has also launched some other innovative equipment too and is successfully running his business.
The reason of these innovative equipments was because of energy crisis through which Pakistan is suffering from many years.
Lets put the record straight, The first solar car was made by a student of NED as a part of his final year project Attique Shafaat I think in 1985-87, Zia was alive and he inaugurated it, these students were even invited in the famous Solar Car Rally of Australia
