Aftab Iqbal revealed in his comedy show ‘khabardar’ that Karachi is 30% of Sindh in terms of population and it should receive at least Rs. 300 billion yet it receives only Rs. 35 Billion.
Even a small city like Larkana receives double budget than Karachi, while Larkana’s population is just 1% of Karachi.
He also revealed that though Lahore’s population is only 8% of Punjab yet it receives 51% of Punjab’s Development Budget.
Aftab Iqbal criticized such policies of governments, saying they are not distributing the budget as per need or in terms of any policy rather they are wasting it on some specified constituencies.
