I strongly condemn the brutal killing of world-renowned Pakistani Qawwal Amjad Sabri in Karachi in broad daylight.
He was 45 and a talented son of distinguished father Ghulam Farid Sabri Qawwal. He was a major Qawwali singer, and a leading member of the Sabri Brothers, a leading qawwali group in Pakistan.
The government must bring the killers to justice. The law and order situation in Karachi is moving from bad to worse. A couple of days earlier the advocate son of the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court was abducted in Karachi whose whereabouts have not been traced as yet.
