Israeli Ministers passed a bill which will ban use of loudspeakers at mosque for Azaan. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported the bill saying we want to protect our citizens from noise like European countries.
The bill will grow through several committees before it becomes a law. Muslims and many Israeli members of parliamentarians rejected the bill saying it will escalate the tensions between Muslims and Jews.
Such recommendations were also passed by Egypt’s Sis regime but failed to prohibit the ban of loudspeakers. Pakistan is also trying to minimize the use of loudspeakers for Azaan and have arrested thousands for misusing of the speakers.
