Karachi: The Aga Khan University’s Department of Emergency Medicine in collaboration with National Institute of Health, Johns Hopkins University and Fogarty JHU-Pak International Collaborative Trauma and Injury Research Training Programme will organise a two-day conference. This year’s conference theme is, “Integrating Clinical Care & Public Health in Emergency Medicine”.
The aim of this annual conference is to provide a global forum that supports and promotes the specialty of emergency medicine, as well as acute care and disaster medicine.
The conference is an opportunity to consolidate public health systems, patient safety and quality initiatives in reinforcing Emergency Medicine in Pakistan. It will also help in building partnerships and collaborations among health care providers and public health professionals.
