The Chinese Defence Minister has warned of a threat and has called on the military, police and the general population to protect the territorial sovereignty of the country.
The Chinese Defence Minister Chang Wanquan made the following statement after inspecting military installations in China’s eastern province Zhejiang.
The Chinese Defence Minister said that the seriousness of the national security situation should be recognized. Particularly we need to keep close eyes on the evolving threats posed in the oceans.
He further stated that the nation along with military and police should be ready to protect sovereignty of the country
He also stated that he general public should be educated about national defence issues.
