Karachi: K-Electric participated in the 10th EFP – Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHS&E) award and after due process of evaluation and audit, Employers’ Federation of Pakistan awarded 1st Position to “K-Electric” in the Category of Oil, Gas & Energy Sector for the year 2014.
According to a press statement issued by K-Electric, this award is given to companies displaying the best Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management & Emergency Response Systems, Policies, OHS&E implementation and Performance assessment, minimum industrial accidents & occupational disease control. A total of 26 companies were assessed by a group of independent auditors in which K-Electric emerged as the winner.
This year for the first time, K-Electric won this prestigious award in recognition of best safety practices for its employees, and management commitment towards continual improvement in the field of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E).
