Hamid Mir criticized the supporters of Marshal Law and said it is poison for Pakistan which can only destroy Pakistan.
He further said that there is a myth that during Marshal Law Pakistan developed and was a better country. But it’s not true, as Pakistan lost East Pakistan during Marshal Law, Kalashnikov culture came because of Marshal Law, the poor security conditions and sectarian and ethnic violence all were result of Dictatorship.
He said no one who thinks good for Pakistan can support Marshal Law. Only those who want to see the destruction of Pakistan can support the call of Military Takeover.
