Larkana, the 17th largest city of Pakistan, is situated in the north-west of Sindh. Referred to as the Eden of Sindh, Larakana is the 4th largest city in the province and is home to the historic Indus river.
Larkana is widely occupied by Sindhis. The Sindhi speaking population outweighs the rest of the tribes that speak languages such as Urdu, Baluchi, Brohi, Punjabi, Pashto and Seraiki.
