Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif met Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar and Chaudhry Nisar. In the meeting the delegation briefed the General on the issue of leaked News to Dawn Newspaper.
Talking to ARY News Kashif Abbasi said that General Raheel Sharif believed the news was not leaked but it was fed and planted by the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) to defame the army and establishment.
He said no journalist will disclose its sources, it’s the basic duty of journalist to protect his source. So the issue is not whether Cyril Almeida will cooperate or not the question is whether the government will take action against those government ministers who were involved.
