Election commission of Pakistan has banned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for contesting in any type of election. These parties didn’t submit tax returns, media reports said.
Almost 331 political parties faced this ban, Election commission of Pakistan told in report. Only 8 political parties submitted their tax return details, Samaa TV reported.
Earlier, ECP asked political parties to submit their tax details but after several notices, most parties didn’t submit it.
