Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and other PTI leaders were busy in a Youth Convention inside a Banquet when Islamabad police attacked them and starting arresting PTI workers.
The police used force to arrest young activists from PTI and didn’t hesitate in arresting women by force. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said this is not democracy, even in dictatorships women are respected.
He said we were having a peaceful convention inside a banquet under which rule and law the police is arresting our workers? He called Justice Shaukat Siddqiui to come and see what Islamabad Police is doing after his judgment.
Later Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar left to meet IG Police Islamabad to raise this issue.
