In start of 2015, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) blocked thousands of websites related to blasphemy and pornographic content. From last couple of week, I am observing that PTA’s working is not impressive in blocking websites with obscene content.
Recently I was looking top most viewed sites in Pakistan and surprisingly I noticed couple of immoral sites in this list. There are numbers of tools including Alexa which give very credible ranking system and they are free tools so why PTA is not using these tools?
I ask PTA authority to pay proper attention on this issue and block these sites. On other hand, I am also looking for restoration of YouTube in Pakistan after putting proper filters.
