Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal was left out of the ODI squad for the tour of Bangladesh. Umar had a poor World Cup as he scored 164 runs in 7 matches at an average of 27.33 which is not acceptable from pure batsman.
However Ahmed Shehzad scored 227 runs at an average of 32.42 in 7 matches and was third highest run scorer from Pakistan behind Sarfraz Ahmed and Misbah-ul-haq. Can someone from selection committee explain this?
