A three-day workshop has started at Federal Urdu University, Abdul Haq Campus for students of Mass Communication where lectures on different topics will be delivered to the students.
A young journalist Noman Rao associated with Geo news delivered a lecture on Translation of News from English to Urdu on first day of the workshop in which he enlightened the structure of news and its other components. A number of students attended the workshop.
The chairman Mass Communication Department Dr Auj-e-Kamal was the chief guest whereas Madam Zareen Akhter organized the workshop and Madam Samreen hosted it.
Dr Asmat Aara will conduct workshop on Translation of Research Articles on second day whereas senior journalist Irfan Ali Yousaf will conduct workshop on Translation of News Article on third day.
