Jeddah: 15 January, 2025 Consulate General of Pakistan, Jeddah organized an event to honour Pakistani cricket legend Shahid Afridi in Jeddah today. The event was organized as an interactive session with students of Pakistan International School, Al- Rehab, Jeddah, which was also attended by the students from Pakistan International School, Aziziah, Jeddah.

The cricketing legend shared his sports legacy and the key to successful sports career with the students. The legendary star emphasized that discipline sincere hard work and self-belief are key to success. Students asked questions about historical moments of his career.

The event was marked by rounds of clapping and keen interests by students, young cricketers and athletes. Talk to the students was followed by a cricket coaching session where young cricketers learned batting techniques and sporting tips from their national hero. Students and faculty expressed deep enthusiasm in the event. The event concluded with group photos with young sports talent of Pakistan International Schools in Jeddah.
