Google Raises Storage and AI Package Prices in Pakistan, Nearly Doubling Costs
Google has substantially increased its Google One cloud storage and AI subscription charges in Pakistan with premium packages raised up to Rs. 70,000 per month.
Updated pricing tiers range from low-storage packages to ultra-premium AI subscriptions costing tens of thousands of rupees per month.
The changes have been implemented across multiple countries, including Pakistan, where Google confirmed subscription prices would increase due to infrastructure and service costs.
Here Are New Storage Rates Shared by Google
Google’s popular 100GB Basic plan in Pakistan has doubled from Rs. 219 to Rs. 419 per month. Annual billing also rose proportionally, pushing the same plan to roughly Rs. 4,199 per year.
Alongside storage plans, Google has begun promoting AI-focused packages that bundle cloud storage with advanced artificial-intelligence tools such as Gemini AI, research assistants, and productivity automation. These packages are:
- Lite storage plans (30GB–100GB)
- Standard and Premium storage tiers up to 20TB
- Google AI Pro (2TB) with AI features
- Google AI Ultra (30TB) — a high-end AI subscription for power users and enterprises
Some listings show AI Ultra promotional pricing exceeding Rs. 35,000 per month, and regular pricing reaching around Rs. 70,000 monthly.
