Balochistan Launches Digital Domicile and Local Certificate System

Jul 14, 2026

The Balochistan government has launched the province’s first E-Domicile and E-Local Certificate System to make the certificate process easier and more transparent for citizens.

The new system has been introduced through the Integrated Domicile Management System (IDMS) in collaboration with NADRA. It will help citizens apply for domicile and local certificates through official digital channels instead of relying on manual procedures.

Once fully functional, people across Balochistan will be able to apply through NADRA centers, Deputy Commissioner offices, and the Pak-ID platform.

The government says the system will reduce delays, improve record verification, and help stop the issuance of fake certificates. It will also limit the role of middlemen by making the process more direct and secure.

The digital record will also help government departments and law enforcement agencies verify citizens’ data more easily when needed.

Officials said the initiative is part of the provincial government’s plan to make public services more digital, transparent, and citizen-friendly across Balochistan.
